Covidedsc readers are South Carolinians looking for clear health information at the moment they need it.

Who reads the site

Our readers are mostly South Carolina residents: parents checking whether a sick child can go back to school, adults caring for older relatives, teachers, employers, and people in the middle of a respiratory illness who want to know what to do next. Many are in Horry County and along the Grand Strand, with more across Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Florence. We're a young site, so we won't quote traffic figures we can't show you. Ask, and we'll share current analytics directly.

Ad formats

• Leaderboard (728×90) under the navigation and between article sections.
• Square (300×250) in sidebars and within article text.
• Skyscraper (160×600) in the sticky sidebar on desktop.
• Sponsored articles, always labeled "Sponsored" at the top, with the sponsor named.

What we won't run

No ads for unproven COVID-19 cures or treatments, no ads that mimic medical advice or DPH messaging, and nothing that uses fear to sell. Ads never appear on our legal pages or inside the first screen of an article's text.

Editorial independence

Advertisers don't see articles before publication and can't change what we write. Sponsorship doesn't buy coverage, and a sponsored piece never replaces the sourcing standards on our about page.
